Director of Young Adult Ministry
Full-Time Position | Ages 18–29

Central Lutheran Church is seeking a relational, creative, and faith-filled leader to develop a new ministry for young adults ages 18–29.
Emerging adulthood is a formative season filled with questions about faith, identity, relationships, vocation, purpose, and belonging. We believe God is calling Central to invest intentionally in this generation by creating authentic relationships and environments where young adults can encounter Jesus, explore their faith, experience belonging, and grow as lifelong disciples.
About the Opportunity
The Director of Young Adult Ministry will build and lead ministries, small groups, mentoring relationships, service opportunities, retreats, and spiritual experiences designed specifically for emerging adults.
This is an opportunity to build and shape something new, not simply maintain an existing program. The director will work closely with Central’s pastor, staff, volunteers, ministry leaders, and community partners.

Central is located in the heart of Chippewa Falls and serves people throughout Wisconsin’s Chippewa Valley. Our community combines the relationships and welcoming spirit of a smaller city with abundant opportunities for recreation, connection, and service.

- Experienced in leading people, groups, volunteers, or ministry environments
- Collaborative, organized, and self-motivated
Experience in young adult, college, camp, discipleship, or leadership-development ministry is preferred. A related bachelor’s degree and familiarity with Lutheran theology are also beneficial.
Position Details
This is a full-time, salaried position reporting directly to the pastor. Central offers competitive compensation based on experience and qualifications, along with retirement benefits, paid vacation and holidays, continuing education, and professional-development support.
